Andy Matuschak propose to write evergreen notes by concept or idea, and not by book, project or article. This makes harder to write notes, but it’s fondamental to initialize cumulative knowledge. Writing notes by concept helps to create new connections. An example on this is when writing about Guilt, our inner enemy and the relationship between religion and feminism.
